$1720.66 to be exact!!! My original goal was to reach $1,000 for our team by mid October (my birthday). We surpassed that a few days ago. I had some unexpected donations hit my account this week that put my personal fund-raising just a few dollars shy of $1,000 myself! After some fabulous friends pitched in and donated I reached $1,000 in my account too! Now, I am officially the 4th highest fundraiser for the 2011 Dallas 3-Day! That is so exciting! But, of course, who wants to be 4th place when you can be the TOP fundraiser! Our team "Got Twins?" is the 3rd highest fundraiser! :) I also received an e-mail from SGK that congratulated me on reaching 50% of the fund-raising minimum for the walk ($2,300). I am more determined than ever to keep the ball rolling! Can we reach our $5,000 team goal by Christmas? Most definitely! I'm totally expecting to reach and surpass it!!
Our 76 additional flamingos are "out for delivery" which means...we will be flocking 2 houses a night!!! Yay! Twice the birds, twice the fun and hopefully twice the donations!! We are ecstatic!
